“Aged in 45% new French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. It has a nose of dusty oak, dark cherry, dried cranberry, and smoky oak flavors laced with light, fine tannin. Everything carries through the long, medium-broad finish. Well balanced, structured, and integrated.
Very Tasty“. – Colorado Wine News, October – December 2008, Download Review
91 POINTS – “Super fresh style here. Rich peppery sour cherry flavours reflect the 72-hour cold maceration in open-top tanks before fermentation on native yeasts. Signorello practices traditional Burgundian techniques. The wine is not filtered or fined. This is rich full-bodied pinot with a plummy spicy black cherry finish. Serious pinot that will easily age five years or more. Certainly one of the best we’ve tasted from Carneros.”
